San Francisco Marathon

The San Francisco Marathon shall take place today. The Marathon shall have a total of more than twenty two thousand participants in the different events. The San Francisco Marathon took place for the first time in the year 1977. Since then the event has been taking place every year except in the year 1988. The marathon has been facing a big problem ever since it started and i.e. bandits. These people enter into the marathon without paying any fee or getting registered and they are able to enjoy running, drinking the free drinks and even win the medals. It is well known that the first woman who won the Boston Marathon was also a bandit. She sneaked into the marathon as females were not allowed to take part in the race.
