Devin Hester, Jay Cutler, Julius Peppers lift Bears past Packers in thriller

Jay Cutler threw for 221 yards, Brian Urlacher forced a key fumble and Chicago took advantage of a team-record-tying 17 penalties by the Packers to beat Green Bay, 20-17, on Monday night.

Earlier, All-Pro returner Devin Hester took a punt 62 yards for a touchdown to start the fourth quarter, giving the Bears their first lead of the game

The Bears could have tied the game at 10 by kicking what amounted to an extra point and kept the momentum they had just regained. Soldier Field already had come alive midway through the third quarter thanks to the way Julius Peppers gave the Bears offense a chance and the stadium hope.

By now everybody knows Julius Peppers as the Bears' $91 million man. That's a small fortune.
