The U.K.'s Financial Services Authority said Thursday that Goldman Sachs Group Inc. agreed to pay a fine of £17.5 million ($27.1 million) for failing to make disclosures about trader Fabrice Tourre.
Mr. Tourre is the London-based trader at Goldman who was accused of fraud in an April lawsuit by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Goldman agreed in July to pay $550 million to settle SEC civil charges against the company, but Mr. Tourre is fighting the allegations.
