US Constitution Day 2010 Activities For Kids

Today is a day of celebration as today many people celebrate Constitution Day and is also recognized as Citizenship Day. On September 17, 1787, the final draft of the Constitution was adopted by the members of the Constitutional Convention. It was a very important occasion in the history of our nation, we honor our days and still nothing of the importance of continuing the “Declaration of Rights.” The Day of the Constitution also recognizes all who are born in the U.S. or to obtain legal citizenship by naturalization.

Seven Things About Charles Martinet, The Voice of Super Mario Game

Charles Martinet provides the voice for kids video game character Mario, aka Super Mario, as he will forever be known in my house. Mario turns 25 this year, and Martinet has enjoyed his years of providing the voice for Nintendo’s Mario, a plumber who is always having to abandon his work to run off and save a princess or something. The Mario quiz on Yahoo’s frontpage today made us all a little nostalgic for the character.

Jon Stewart Announces ‘Rally to Restore Sanity’

“It is happening, people; it is happening.”

That was Jon Stewart’s rallying cry as he announced on Thursday’s show his plans for what he has dubbed, “The Rally to Restore Sanity,” a play on Glenn Beck’s popular Restoring Honor rally that took place in late August.
