The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas unveils the design of the new 20-piso coin as well as the upgraded 5-piso coin with nine corners, which the central bank plans to roll out early 2020. The new P20 coin is more expensive to produce than the banknote version, but the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas says it will last much longer. They plan to continue the circulation of the P20 banknote until 2021. Here are the pictures of the new coins.
